Message from the President

Dear Members,

It has been three long weeks since we last met and had a game. Like many of you I am also

suffering from withdrawal symptoms as a result of being housebound. Hopefully this

lockdown will soon come to an end if we all play our small part in observing the lockdown

The Executive Committee had to postpone its last meeting due to the lockdown. However,

there have not been any major decisions that required our attention. We continue to keep

in touch to ensure that the issues that require our urgent attention are dealt with.

Regarding the Annual General Meeting it is scheduled for 2 October 2021. Hopefully, there

will not be a need to postpone it once again. All matters related to the AGM have been

completed and have been circulated to you. I would urge you to read all the documents,

particularly those that relate to the changes in the constitution and the annual fees. The

nominations forms for positions on the Executive have also been circulated. Those of you

who have an interest in serving the club in whatever position is invited to submit your

nomination to Russell Clarke.

The weather is continuing to improve and with a bit of luck we may be able to take

advantage of this good weather sooner than later.

In the interim I trust you and your family will stay safe and in good health until we meet

again at the first tee.

Kind Regards

Harry Naidu
