SLOW PLAY: Looking at todays times i cannot understand why groups are taking over 4 hrs, especially playing PAR. We as a club seem to be getting slower, I'm not asking people to run, just try and keep up.
I don't want to name and shame, however groups closer to the top need to keep up ,so it flows down to the other groups
it's not just about ready golf, its having the awareness to understand you are falling behind, i know handicaps etc... can affect this but there are small things that you can do to keep up like when on the green after the first 2 have holed out, they should walk to the next tee and be ready to tee off.
Remember I'm the one who has to deal with the pro shop when questioned about the gaps in the field and if it continues they can take times off us.
